Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's not yer wans fault that people thought she was missing, her mother wouldn't answer the private number.

    Hahahaha.
    Op, you're dead right :)

But makes you question. Is a short phone call or text to those who care about you asking too much?

    What happened?

I know she was missing and found, but where was she? WHy didn't she call?

This thread & her have a lot in common. They are both getting locked.

This is why people are ****ed up. If she was dead people would be saying how sad they are. But she's alive and well, people rip the **** out of her more than likely making her feel like ****.

She should be a cautionary tale, not a bloody triumphant story about a mother's worst fear etc. She was clearly off her face and didn't give a crap about personal responsibility but hey, it's 2012 so we're all victims and let's just blame the organisers, eh?

I dont get it? Is this supposed to be funny or something, because all I see is some unfunny caption made in MS paint.

Slap a bit of text on a picture and kids will find anything hilarious these days. Image macro's are a disease.

As was said earlier in the thread, she probably did call but her mother sensibly wouldn't answer a call from a private number.

She should have called her parents instead of getting f*cked up for two days. She would have known her mam/friend's/brother's/house number off by heart and could have called from anywhere or even asked a cop/security on site to do it. She couldn't be arsed and probably knowingly put her mother through a day of hell. She deserves the ridicule.

No she doesn't. It's nothing to do with the public anymore.

The girl in question could have sent a text, that would be the sensible thing to do. She did cause unnecessary worry for everyone.

even her 'death' woulda likely bn a hoax knowin that skanky culture was a fair few 'missing person' pranks off the back of this I heard.. it's only ever a concern when theyre found not to be missing

Definitely, text is always the answer

Most things in the papers are f*ck all to do with the public either! But they still get published! You make stupid and public decisions you have to live with it. That's life.

    here's a link

    Long story short tho:

    - Cork girl goes with friends to concert on saturday in phoenix park, Dublin.
    - she seperates from friends around 11pm saturday night.
    - her belongings were found in Phoenix Park by an emergency services worker on Sunday.
    - There is no contact from her for over 24 hours.
    - worst is presumed.
    - She turns up.
    - Logic says she hooked up with someone. Went to theirs or whatever.
    - But rather than calling mammy or daddy to let them know she was safe she didnt.
