I head across the road on my lunch to your typical newsagent/hot deli to get a roll most days. Things i've noticed which may have already been mentioned

Majority of staff there do not change their gloves between orders.
Safety when picking toppings is not always prevalent i.e. i see too often the likes of stuffing falling into the ketchup container or bits of meat falling into the salad based toppings (which would be to the upset of vegetarians).
Coloured nails, especially with no gloves
I usually order the same stuff on my roll, typical week...
    -Monday 2.80 Tuesday 3.10 Wednesday 2.90 Thursday 2.85 Friday 3.80-
A difference of a euro in price for the same rule between Monday and Friday? Jog on
Also I dont eat meat, but have found on more than once that the price sticker on my roll would read chicken fillet, ham etc

Why do they always ask "butter or mayo", in a one or the other type way?

Am I the only person that takes both?

I always wonder why they asked butter or mayo because the stuff they give isn't butter. Its some cheap spread

One of my pet hates is, when you cut a sandwich or roll in half, it should be exactly that, In two separate disconnected pieces.

Nothing worse then picking up one half and the other gingerly follows it and in the process falls all over the place.

That made me LOL, in future don't cut it in half.

It's great to be able to come home for lunch and make whatever you want :D

On the rare occasions I do have to go to the Deli I like to play it safe with just a small bit of butter, ham, lettuce and boiled egg!
