Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    The constant trolling.

    You calling me a troll?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 22,048 ✭✭✭✭Snowie

Boards annoys me because people become ridiculously opinionated and there best part is some people agree....

other then that.. I dont really care.. One thing that really annoyed me when a poster of boards started bragining to me about getting post of the day..

All I could think is you fvcking sad looser :pac: you actually seem to think i fvcking care..

I believe you are, though perhaps not intentionally. All your posts lately seem to be in threads on gender, and always seem to wind people up, and now you leave an ambiguous post about gender-bashing (pointedly without mentioning any particular gender being bashed) here, designed, I believe, to get a response.

Have you read all my posts? I post on many different topics. If I was a gender-basher I wouldn't be complaining about it. A bit of a misinterpretation there on your part.

The peeps who continually make repetitive threads such as ...

A - dissing the Irish as a race and comparing with other races ie, Germans ,Danes ,Swedes ,Norwegians ,Dutch .

B - putting the Irish race on a pedestal ie' sure there's nobody like us and the world loves us '' .

C -Dissing the Brits and UK for everything ,especially when they have little or no experience of living there .

A little mix of all 3 in the proper context is ok but taken to extremes it's totally annoying and boring .

Not all of them, but a lot, and I had a quick glance at your most recent post history, which featured gender-based threads heavily.

I don't think you're a gender-basher, but I get the impression you like to stir things up in relation to gender, not always in a positive way.

But that's just my impression, and you're free to post how you like. I don't want to turn this thread into a personal debate.

The fact that at least two of the specialist mods are totally biased in favor of renewables and against anything nuclear, and in that context misuse their power and authority.

Going unreged for this one as I am quite well known around here.

No you are not, hardly anyone posts under their real name.

The awful jokes on the first couple of pages in response to the (generally) fair question. I usually have to skip to the third page or so for the serious answers.

Irish girls are foul, foreign girls are gorgeous
Irish workers are lazy drunks, foreign workers are brilliant

You'd get a smack down the pub if you went around declaring this and rightly so

And if you're struggling with your work and the wimmins then maybe you need to look at yourself ;)

I would tend to agree with this as a pet peeeeeeeve of mine , if Irish girls are so horrible why did i see ya out with one last weekend, If Ireland is such a rip off and to expensive , why did i see ya eating out with the Irish Girl , and Ireland is a crippled nation i cant get a job , well ya have a perfectly good country to return to ....we do have a good ferry service off ya pop lol

Anyway on a serious note , it really winds me up when people jump on any smallbit of wrong information as if they are the gift to that chosen topic and we should all bow down to their superior knowledge, people who resort to inundating you with facts when one direct to the point one will do Grrrrr

Posters who come into a thread and suggest that the thread should be locked.

If you're not working for boards then why would you care if it's locked or not?
I rather read a thread "that has been derailed" than not reading anything at all. Arguments are the best part of boards sometimes.

Having a genuine opinion that goes against the AH consensus and being accused of trolling for stating it.

I believe they are called "no life, wanker, mod wannabes".

    I'm pretty sure that's a technical term.

People who post in threads to point out how stupid they are. If you don't like a thread don't post in it.
