if anyone is interested here is a link to his website n talks from the 70's n 80's.

I have found it very helpful in my own personal case of trying to understand my depressions, anxiety and fears and thought processes, relationships. the world e.t.c.

What i like is that he encourages the listeners to learn to think for themselves and not accept or blindly follow his own logic. You don't need to be an expert on any of the topics in order to give them careful attention

it did take a while to get on to a similar wavelength and even now i have to take time to truly consider what is being said.

    "Freedom from the Self
To free the mind from all conditioning, you must see the totality of it without thought. This is not a conundrum; experiment with it and you will see. Do you ever see anything without thought? Have you ever listened, looked, without bringing in this whole process of reaction? You will say that it is impossible to see without thought; you will say no mind can be unconditioned. When you say that, you have already blocked yourself by thought, for the fact is you do not know.

So can I look, can the mind be aware of its conditioning? I think it can. Please experiment. Can you be aware that you are a Hindu, a Socialist, a Communist, this or that, just be aware without saying that it is right or wrong? Because it is such a difficult task just to see, we say it is impossible. I say it is only when you are aware of this totality of your being without any reaction that the conditioning goes, totally, deeply;which is really the freedom from the self."

Please be advised that we have forums on boards that deal specifically with spirituality, and more appropriate for the discussion of Krishnamurti belief systems. This thread is being moved to Spirituality LOCKED, so that the mods may review it for appropriateness.

hi, I sent a mail to black swan about this as well. i am confused as why it has been moved here?

this has nothing to do with spirituality!

if anything it goes against anything connected to spirituality. his talks always just deals in facts. and we know that spirituality has nothing to do with facts.

so to be honest i'd prefer the thread to be deleted than remain in forum as it would be no use to anyone here.

plus krishnamurti would be turning in his grave if he knew it was in this forum , it goes against all of his philosophy, so it doesn't feel right tbh .
