That is something that I don't know, but worries me slightly...

    EDIT: Tweeted PM regarding this

I got the same spam message as above today, i haven't used either of my two free stays yet either though it went straight into my spam on gmail upon close inspection hovering my mouse over any of the hyperlinks showed a suspicious url (ie fpd) googling it pretty much confirmed it.

I haven't received a message like this, but certainly wouldn't like to have my details shared with a third party.

Reply from PM on Twitter; email is genuine. Free stay promotion ended in July but they're giving existing customers some time to use them.

Is there an option to purchase additional insurance for items which cost more than €100?

First time using the service, and saved €80 in the process. Great service

First time ordering so I'm wondering if I got this right :P My PMID is in the address line 1 and then the address is in line 2 is that okay? Here's a pic of the dispatch email from Amazon of the address.

Just remember they (Parcel Motel) cover up to €100 of delivered item. Anything more expensive is sent on your risk.

Quick question before I start worrying...

I have a package coming from the US (customs paid through Amazon) that is taking way longer than it should. Its coming to Parcelmotel and since I'm in the UK next week I really don't want it to sit in the locker for a whole 8 days costing €3.50 per 48 hours. Are they willing to hold a parcel back if it arrives during this time? Or will I be out of pocket :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,196 ✭✭✭flyguy

Afaik they don't hold parcels. Try and contact 'm, easiest option would be to get someone else to collect it (all they need is your number+pin) You could even -temporarily- change your PM location if there's no one you know near yours...

Also have my card registered on the site, does that mean I don't have to top up? It just takes off the amount from the card?

What is the situation with an oversized parcel that cannot be collected?

  • Registered Users Posts: 907 ✭✭✭styron

What is the situation with an oversized parcel that cannot be collected?

They deliver to your address - €14 (usual €3.50+ €10.50) up to 35KG*, plus €7 per each additional 10KG (and residual part of 10KG) after that.

*Oversized parcels are weighed dimensionally: Length x Width x Height in cm / 3000

I tweeted them the other day about deliveries on weekends and they deliver on Saturdays in some counties.
