What is Magnet Stream?

    Unfortunately, Simply Broadband is not available in your area. However, Magnet Stream, which is a similar product, is available.

    What is Magnet Stream? There is no mention of it on the magnet website

    Is stream not what Eircom call their wholesale DSL Service? If your exchange is not an LLU Exchange, maybe Magnet use Eircom's service and just rebrand it...

    Probably the case, but there are no details such as how much it costs, cap, T&C's etc. on the magnet website or anywhere on the web that I can find. Will PM a magnet rep

    @snr3 thats the web streaming TV service... dont think that applies to broadband...

    Exactly, who said that magnet stream has anything to do with broadband? Its only "similiar service" ;p

    Did anybody ever get any clarification on what exactly Magnet Stream is? Is it definitely the same as Magnet Force 8?

    Website still doesn't say much except it is 59.99 a month with 50e connection fee however Bonkers.ie say it's speed is 1mb up/ 24mb down. Can anyone tell me if this is correct?

    Does anyone know of any other no contract / 3 / 6 month decent broadband deals?
