Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rovers in dire need of win tomorrow before the champions league game on Tuesday.

Second televised Sligo game on the run. As you would expect for the league leaders. Kinda knocks the RTE-shamrock-dublin-centric looney tunes stuff on the head really. :)

No Cork City match this week because they were supposed to play Monaghan. :(

Suppose I'll just enjoy the Derry vs. Sligo match on RTE instead.

Dundalk's worst home run in 86 years and will only get worse tomorrow night. The sooner this season is over and we see the back of McCaffrey the better

Fair play to Monagahn for pulling out of the league. Gives us a free weekend.

    Aren't they lovely?

Gonna be part of a probably tiny UCD crowd at Dalymount on Sunday. Haven't won an away game in over a year :(

Hoping for a decent game. UCD (though I'm only judging by MNS highlights) looked fantastic against Derry last week. Play some great ball. Could be a great game.

Sligo Rovers will be without Danny North tomorrow night, we might struggle for a goal as he has taken the lions share this season, maybe Millien will get a start, Quigley should defo start, will be interested to see the line up.

not going to derry tomorrow night - worst away fan experience in the loi- better view on the telly .
Cant wait for slovakia next week.

Hoping for the classic European hangover in Inchicore sunday. Extra time and peno's in Iceland tonight would be nice as well!

We do play great attacking football, but defensively we're a shambles. Every time we give away a corner I'd be pretty worried about conceding. This wouldn't be too bad if we were scoring regularly but with Graham Rusk injured, we're finding goals hard to come by recently. With McMillan back hopefully that'll change this weekend.

McCaffrey has departed Dundalk just in time for tomorrow..

I'm sure there'll be tears from every Dundalk fan at the news

Hopefully it does not get any worse for the club.

    Last thing the league needs.

    The seaside in the summer.

Doubt there'll be weather like for our cup game out there in May. :(

I'm just thankful I'll be under the roof.

I'd say a draw will happen, hope one or two of the new signings make an impact.

I'd say a fair few Reds might head in there too if the weather's ropey.

Bray missing four players tomorrow? If so, we should be looking to sneak it.

Webster has missed last few matches anyway, Houston has missed one or two (might be a sub now cos of K O' Connor). Danny O' Connor is a big loss, Mitchell only made his way into the team but still a loss. I think they can cope though...or so I hope.

Do you have 2 fit centre-backs though?

Don't think we really have all season. Shane O' Connor (no relation to the other 2) is just back. Its been a mess there all season, this is nothing new.

Please dear God let us win against Wexford tonight! Would be a great boost going up agin Waterford next week. And Mervue will hopefully maybe sneak a point at Limerick tonight!

Rovers should win tonight, but with only one away win since the opening day in Drogheda, anything can happen..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,501 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Until the continuity announcer announced it as Derry v Shamrock Rovers rather than Sligo Rovers.

    Bring on Pascal.

Ban Gavin Peers from making passes longer than 5 yards.

If they lose to Dundalk, he has to go surely?

They are too good for them though, they should come back.

1-0 Rovers! Lovely goal from Cawley.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,508 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Crinklewood

    Doherty looked dodgy there.

    Rovers one up Cawley.

Great goal for Sligo. Great work from start to finish.

Poor goalkeeping shouldnt be beaten by a shot into the middle of the goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,833 ✭✭✭NufcNavan

Poor from Doherty but he did make a class save before it.
