Just a word of warning to those with a loan or custody account with NIB. For some reason NIB converted my free current account to a service account, instead of a fee-paying current account. I only discovered it when utility companies started writing to me saying that my direct debits had bounced.

I recommend that if you are with NIB, check your online banking to make sure your account is ok. All my direct debits and standing orders have disappeared, and I cant transfer money from the service account. Havent tried my ATM card yet. Hopefully they can get it restored quickly.
