Job seekers for my partner

Hey all, my partner and i moved in together about 5 years ago, she was on loan parent but came off it when we moved in. we since had another child who is starting school end of august. I was on the dole for a few months a few years ago and claiming for her and the kids too and recieved fis last year when i started a new job and came in beliw the income limit initially also claiming for her and the kids. She wants to now try get a job for mornings while the 2 kids will be in school so just wondering is she entitled to apply for job seekers now?

She will not be able to claim for Jobseekers benefit as she has no stamps so she would have to claim under Jobseekers Allowance which is means tested. Cheers for the link, i rang citizens information and the guy on the phone worked it out for me, she wouldnt get enough to cover the petrol and parking to pick it up every week :rolleyes:

you should look into signing for credits,not much use now.handy in the future.

Perhaps the small JSA payment might be the way to go.
