Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Really can't stress how naff boot cut trousers look in a suit. You're not wearing jeans and even then boot cut is no longer in fashion.

Remember a simple/classic well tailored suit will last you years and always remain in style.

If you want something a little less stuffy (hence the boot cut request) go for a lighter coloured classic suit like a light grey or even creme. Looks great during the summer and can be worn formally or casually with loafers and open neck shirt.

Have to echo what WealthyB said.

One addition - you need to reframe your thinking a little. It's not as simple as "bootcut or regular", like jeans. Suit trousers actually come in a variety of different styles, depending on the manufacturer. Some have very narrow legs with a narrow opening and others are wider. Finally, a good tailor will be able to slant the hem for you so it breaks nicely over the shoe rather than just puddling over it.

boot cut suit sounds terrible to be honest

you wear a suit to look smart.

where you planning on wearing a pair of boots with your suit or just want some wider legs to hang over your shoes
