Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering did anyone pick up a copy of yesterday's Examiner. There was an interesting piece in the supplement about a Danish billionaire chap buying a rake of land in scotland (100,000+) acres at this stage.

Think it's possible that it could happen in Ireland? Some billionaire walks into a farm yard and says to an aging farmer with no heirs, i'll give you 10k and acre for what you have, etc....

you would think he has learned his lesson in denmark, land prices were the exact same as the housing market in Ireland. just talk to a few danish farmers and realize how screwed they are.
