Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Eamon Dunphy - thinks he knows everything but is almost always always wrong.
Roy Keane - I think he wishes he was English... such an a**hole.

ANYONE who was in any of the Allianz Television ads deserves a slow and painful death... Not a sinner in the fooking country wants to hear what your advice would be... and then that horrible theme tune at the end of each and every miserable ad. Hmm, I wonder is there a thread for dissing ads...

Come near to what? Magee's biased diatribe has run its course. Have an impartial sportsman man like Daragh in there I say. A true pro who never expresses preference to any side.

Hopefully the good people of Dublin and Wexford will realise their mistake and kick these two out in the next election.

It's not even hard.. by a country mile, out of all the options it simply has to be be Bono.

Bono; I can tolerate but teh other fella just grates - Ireland's most annoying person can only be Bono.

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,500 ✭✭✭✭DEFTLEFTHAND

Ireland's least annoying man has to be Rory Gallagher, Pure genius, the world's greatest axe man imo..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,477 ✭✭✭grenache

Twink does my head in. She pontificates every time she appears on tv - the late late seem to adore her, she's never off it. Appearing in pantos is her biggest achievement, yet the way she talks one would swear she's a Hollywood A-lister.

Rory was a wiz no doubt - I'm sure his doctor, found him annoying though. You know what, that's the kind of international exposure that made us the apple of many a foreigners eye. Bono tenfold - Give some
ned, runnin his guff in the the light of day and the tide will surely turn

You're right, a craftsman like Rory got us 'real' respect and worldwide recognition. Bono was and has been far too exposed for lasting adulation, and that's a shame really because 1980's/early 90s U2 were quite good imo.

Bono put us on the map for the third world I think, anywhere Geldof didn't reach that's a lot of people - and another contender. Rory was a legend to many who are legends to me and appealed to intelligent people - jejemons in the phillipines would lap up irish rap and people in papa new guinea, probably

Rory lived for the music and that only, fame was an afterthought, he transcended all that BS. He toured relentlessly for most of his 47 years and touched every corner of this planet with his genius. For me he has to rank as our number 1 ever musician, this guy is revered by every serious guitar player worldwide. The whole concept of commercialism never entered his thoughts. I know this is a phrase that is often used improperly but it is safe to say that Rory Gallagher never 'sold out'.

Gay Byrne - patronizing old git
Sinead o Connor - please just go away
Daithi o Shea - Kerry Muck Savage, should be picking schpuds instead of annoying everyone
Eddie Hobbs - most annoying accent ever, and he thinks he knows everything.
Brendan o Carroll - little bald prick, not one bit funny
Brendan o Connor - Ugly ape in a suit with greaseball haircut.

Rory Gallagher fans. Most of them anyway. Also people who think they're being edgy and original by going on and on about how Bono is the biggest prick under the sun. Give it a ****in rest, seriously. When you take into account how many absolute kunts this ****hole has produced then you'll see Bono is way down the list of folks worthy of the public's bile. He's better than most of ye anyway.
