Flash contest -- predict summer's highest temperature

Predict the highest temperature of summer 2012 to be recorded at any of Met Eireann's innumerable "synoptic weather stations" as listed on their website and later confirmed in the relevant Monthly Summary.
A pessimist might say, already had it back in May, but this contest will be settled on the basis of highest temperature in July, August or September in the hope that said value is higher than the 27.8 reading at Shannon back in late May, but possibly it won't break that mark (June managed a feeble 23.7, I think March did better than that
).
So far this month we have almost certainly not established a high for the month, and charts continue to hint at warmer patterns to come.
So, predict away, giving a temperature and a location and date just for fun, the contest will only be for the temperature but any ties can be settled with location and then date.
I will start the bidding with 28.4 at Oak Park on 24th of July.
(if anyone wants to tabulate, go ahead, if not I will later --
CONTEST CLOSES AT 0300h WEDNESDAY 18th which is effectively Tuesday night)1
