Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

EA has a system where you can buy player packs for your fantasy team. It's a random system and you can spend as much as you want.
in order to do that on Xbox Live though, you need to buy MS points first where it clearly states how much they cost.

Kid's a genius if you ask me. Fooling his dad into thinking he unwittingly purchased microsoft points and accidently ran up his credit card bill. Obviously the dad doesn't know much about X Box so it was easy for the kid to lie. Using his dad's ignorance against him.

On the otherhand, maybe the dad is the one who is lying and is just trying to get out of paying the bill.

How did that kid run up a £1,150 bill anyways!!!

you can spend much as you want alright, but randomness always seemed limited to 30% of the available roster to me - on the ps3.

XBox sucks.. If it's not modified for the games to cost you squat. Still sucks, but just it's that much cheaper then - wouldn't use one online cos they milk it. Kids' device, designed to exploit kids n that's rich...

I'm sure the kid knew what he was doing  (stupid kid) But its been said before about Microsoft and their "points" system. In that its a trick of sorts. While on Sony's PSN (playstation 3 network) They list prices as they are. €4.99, €19.99 etc.

    To quote the Wikipedia link:

"Microsoft is obscuring the true cost of this content. A song on Zune typically costs 79 Microsoft Points, which, yes, is about 99 cents. But it seems to be less because it's just 79 Points."
"To buy even a single 99-cent song from the Zune store, you have to purchase blocks of 'points' from Microsoft, in increments of at least $5. You can’t just click and have the 99 cents deducted from a credit card, as you can with iTunes. So, even if you are buying only one song, you have to allow Microsoft to hold on to at least $4.01 of your money until you buy another."
