Just Cause 2 Multiplayer mod.

A beta period opened at like 7 o clock this morning for the JC2 MP mod, available here: http://www.jc-mp.com/

It's not finished, but what there is, is loads of fun, such as taking a helicopter to Panau International and blowing up everyone trying to take off, or trying to take off from Panau International while being shot at

I'd advise everyone to have a go if they have JC2, with it being on sale on Steam it's not very expensive at the moment.

Mod will be on steam in the next few weeks, suggest people pick this up.

600 people online in a game like this is absolute carnage, great fun tho.

Been keeping an eye on this, it looks insane and better than any GTAV multiplayer footage ive seen.

Never fully played JC2, it was one of those few games that ran like utter shìt on my old laptop.

I'll give this a whack though since it does look good fun. What I liked about the San Andreas mod was the sheer number of players on a server and all the chaos that happened.

setting your server to 100k players at max and having the hardware capable of actually supporting that are two different things

Just joined there, havent a clue what im doing but what vie seen so far its absolutely insane fun.
I need to learn a lot it seems, is it free for all pvp ?

Some guy jumped on my car and we drove tru town killing everything.

Money is important.

F5 for tips

T for chat F1 is map, F3 turns off chat (handy this one is )

For races, pro tip dont miss the markers in the markers :d /race to exit.

/tp dish
/tp airport

to go where people usually hang out.

There are factions and squads but dont seem to be on some servers.

Do the different colours for player names mean anything, pvp flagged or anything or is every pvp flagged?

This is good crack. Unfortunately the mod has stalled a lot, requiring a kill in Task-manager, and it has also crashed to desktop giving me the opportunity to send a crash report. Does anybody else experience frequent crashes?

EDIT: I ran the base game and it update something. I think it was Microsoft Redistributable. Anyway,. played for a while there and no crashes.
