Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not exactly the brightest - pretty embarrassing.

On TV3 Mastermind he got 3 on his own subject, and only 2 more on general knowledge. :pac:

Any candidates in the UK who got a lower score?

    TV3 + "celebrity" best avoided.

It was fairly cringey to watch.

I like the Mastermind format, even if the word 'celebrity' is being misused on this version.

    What was his chosen subject?

How much do they win for charity? The only figure I've heard is €500 which doesn't seem like a lot for a charity show (although I do accept 'tis Ireland we're in.)

    Ford Tractors!

I read about his dismal performance yesterday so I tuned in to see how bad it could be. He blamed his poor performance on the fact the others went to third level. He comes across as an imbecile.

But he might as well have said "The Higgs boson" for all he knew about tractors. I read the questions he fluffed and they were pretty straightforward, the general knowledge ones were easy, to be fair. He may not be the brightest lamp in the parlour..

    TV3 + "celebrity" best avoided.

TV3 full stop is best avoided - low budget shyte TV made to cater to the lowest common denominator.

Just goes to show that sometimes, you CAN judge a book by its cover.

TV3 = Sky TV Lite or Bastard Son of Sky.

Far worse than Sky I think and to top it all anyone I know who has met any of the ' stars ' or presenters of TV3 has not had a good word to say about any of them.

So your man goes on the TV on a stupid specialist subject designed to attract the sniggers of the Dublin media and combines that with the lowest score in mastermind history thus getting the Crystal Swing name back in the tabloid headlines that had been hogged by Jedward for the last 6 months.

Their whole career is based on a willingness to have people think they are freaks and laugh at them. Laugh all you like but that little "performance" on mastermind will double their 2012 income.
