Eircom FWA left in lurch

We had an Eircom FWA installation (one of the few apparently) at a rural location because Eircom could not supply DSL (line was 8k from sub exchange rather than 5k direct to the main exchange).
Recently we were simply informed this service was cancelled from June and we had to find another supplier. Eircom said they would contact with alternatives but failed to do so. We have now had to fall back on using mobile at this location temporarily.
We originally paid Eur800 installation not so many years ago and a lot of usage charges too. Now Eircon are now looking Eur150 closing contract for where there is no future offer of service, 800Eur of dud equipment cluttering the place. Seriously unhappy with this shoddy service after paying so much on time every month for a mediocre service.
Is there any Eircom reps on here who know anything about this? Usually we are treated like a phone customer, had none of the broadband benefits and spent hours chasing Eircom to find anyone who could even find our account.:mad:Does the regulator not have any teeth in these issues? Anyone have any ideas on how to handle this?

Can you PM me with your mobile number and the best time to give you a call and I can arrange a call back regarding the Fixed Wireless Access issue.

    Thanks, Mark
