Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi to more n00bs.

Catching up now, does this mean Panthro will leave awec barefoot and pregnant?

Daises, let us know when we need to start addressing you as Prof. Daises. :pac:

    Omlettes? Ick. Chorizo...yeah!

I think Awec, Panthro, Panthro's new woman and whoever else wants to join in could all live in a big commune together, throw in a couple of porn stars and it would resemble something outta Charlie Sheens life.. :D

Have been avoiding Googling anything Charlie Sheen related, sounds like it's best to continue doing this...

    Pem's/Daisie's/GB's obsession with cake

Hermione - couldn't add more cheese - there was already far too much in it :)
Also, would definitely do that with the chorizo, however I was looking for a quick fix this morning so it was sliced chorizo I added to it, like what you'd use in a sandwich, rather than normal Chorizo sausage - although I have that in the fridge, will be using it later this week fo'sho :)
If I were doing that, I’d usually reserve some cheese from the omelette mixture to put on the top ;)
I’m not mad about sliced chorizo: much prefer the chorizo sausages. However, you can get rings of ready-cooked chorizo, which are nice. They probably still take time to cook, though. This is why I have omelettes for supper or weekend breakfast. I usually have a speedy bowl of porridge or homemade smoothie during the week.

I use Jamie Oliver’s recipe as my base and adapt it. Really recommend it. Sauces I like to be really rich and thick, which is why I rarely make stews. Haven’t the patience for the aaaaaages of cooking and simmering away required to get it the way I want it!

Sames! For me, it’s eggs, cheese, chorizo, hummus, herbal teas, coffee, nice chocolate, chickpeas, chillies ….

Whatyatalkinabout? Hummus is great. :pac: Cheese is fuppin' expensive, good, but dear.

I could probably do with better lunches. Sandwich (brown bread) and fruit is OK, I guess. Made a practice version of my Cooking Club recipe last night, tune in during October to find out what it is. :P
