Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Back on topic - Guinness and Rollies are a great combination. I'm not sure enough people are aware of this.

But it says "Off Topic chat thread".....:pac:
    (Just kidding!)

I knew that would be the first response I'd get as soon as I hit submit:D

I'm sticking to my guns and asking how you can have an off topic chat thread with a clearly stated topic.

On a more serious note, does anyone not use proper filters in their rollies these days? They're a messy enough job without them, probably one of the better innovations of this decade.

Morning all. Such a hectic week. Saw over 900 people in total and screened them for eye problems. Now to write my first ever final and head to a 3 day music festival!

Be very liberal with the adding of Baileys to it

I made it a "swirl" one to look like this:
    http://auntyyochana.blogspot.ie/2007/04/stefs-non-baked-baileys-cheesecake.html
all you need for that is 50g of dark choc and a spoon of butter, melted together, then pour them in at the end when the mix and all is in the cake tin, and swirl around with the spoon a bit

    Oh no :( What's up?

My stomach is in bits :( Cheese on toast helped :)

I'm holding back the fecking tears watching Home & Away.

I heard H&A was distressing recently....how so? Death I assume?

Have the cold again - obviously didn't shake it fully although I felt grand until Friday morning. Should be okay tomorrow again hopefully but annoyed that my weekend has been taken from me slightly!

Stomach in bits from the deoch last night?

Is Home and Away that bad? :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

That was utterly embarrassing last night from Ireland. How O'Dea/Cox/Andrews/Ward get in ahead of the likes of Wilson/Gibson/Hoolahan/Long is baffling.

    BAFFLING I TELLS YA!!

Oh awec, I got Xbox Live... Finally. I'll let you win at FIFA sometime. ;)

I was catching up with it today, it's so depressing!
I'm gonna have to go watch once upon a time to cheer up.

    Home and Away...

Pfft, I've an afternoon of James Bond movies ahead. Far better. ;)

No one dead yet, but it's very real life for some reason! I am normally grand with TV shows

Boo to the cold, it's the change in weather!

Yup, one too many vodkas were had, but it was a fun night! I really shouldn't be allowed to dance :o

I've never seen a Bond film in the cinema, honest.

    Homeland's good. :)

Surprisingly played well in the 2nd half despite not scoring (it's as though I carried my nightlife form onto the pitch)

Not as sick anymore but a drive to Killarney ahead of me after that match....ugh!

    hope you're feeling better Pem,

TG, nice one on the bond movies, sounds promising

Oh well done but HAHAHAHA on the nightlife form :P :P Love that analogy!

I am feeling better, thankfully, quiet night in for granny is on the cards :pac: Watching 5 Year Engagement, it's hilarious.

Pft, whatever. I still think they're awesome! :P

So Pemb is hungover, D'Agger is sick, KKK is watching Homeland to cheer up, TG is happy out watching Bond for the day and awec is still getting some premature birthday presents; how's everyone else keeping?

I like here being a bit quiet, makes me seem super attentive. :pac:

On a completely separate subject, rugby.
**** you Conor Murray. All you had to do was kick the ball down the pitch, it didn't even have to be into touch, and I'd have been up money, which I could have used to spoil myself at the cinema tonight. But no, you had to try and run the ball out of your own 22, only 1 point ahead, with less than 5 minutes left. Dafuq!?

    Will someone make me tea?
