Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

With the bags and all the feckin fees, 180 return
for a weekend near christmas, I reckon that's not bad
AL was 330 before bags
That's very good, paid something close to that to get to Amsterdam.

Weekend trips are expensive enough when you think of how much a sun holiday costs but there's so much more to do and see.

Hopefully I'll get to Berlin and one other city break next year, along with two week long holidays to relax - badly missed not having one this year!

I have some 200 euro Sunway voucher from being an AA member, but their holidays are a bit expensive so it's not really that much.

I'm going to LA/SF at the end of Dec and Iceland in Feb :o

This was the world's longest week but finally got to placement today and it absolutely flew!

Working out of Dublin Monday and heading to a gig Monday night, then off Tuesday - the main thing for me is that I'll get expensed for travel and not have to take a day of annual leave :)

Glad to hear placement flew kkk!

Theres a meme picture going around Facebook right now about 15 puppies who were left on the doorstep of a place in Carrick who because of their age were to be put down by sometime this week. If you want one, that might be a good place to look :)

Was talking about it here last week - don't think I'd be able to look after a puppy on my own with football, work etc. I'd look into it but would need to say it to the landlord first, cheers for the heads up though!

Funnily enough the counties up home don't matter as much. :pac:

Down here if you ask someone where they're from they tend to just name the county.

Up there we name the town / city / whatever. If someone up home asked me where I was from and I said Armagh they'd either assume I was from the City of Armagh (which I'm not) or they'd look at me funny.
Ye always were a weird bunch :D

I'd say Kerry, normally people would then say 'oh which part' before I'd say Killarney - it's strange enough I guess but just another Irish-ism of doing things in a roundabout fashion!
