Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yay for Panthro and awful jumpers! :)

    I done finished placement!
Will miss the kids a lot, but would quite like my life back too at this stage... Out tonight for the first time in nearly a month - that's quite sad reading over it!

    Morning all :)

D'Agger they have about 2 Christmas jumpers left in Pennys. They are getting more guys ones in though. If you want one you'll need to get it soon...

The Toy Show is on tonight :D

    TOY SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Unfortunately, I have a staff thing tonight but I'm eating and getting home early to watch it. It won't be live, but it'll have to do. First year in AGES I've missed it. Can't even remember when I last missed it actually!

Every year (until I started to lose weight that is...:P) my mam bought us a mini selection box for the Toy Show. We'd all sit down with our choc, a can of mineral and a packet of Tayto. Heaven. Tradition that only stopped maybe 2 years ago (I'm 26 ;) )

IN Xmas jumper news, mine is currently in process. First step was stitching a Rudolph hand shower mitt on to the front. I bought little glass, wine charms from Penny's and have attached them around the bottom.

Very proud so far. Picture will be provided when I've finished!

    Thanks Pembo! :)

Will head into the city tomorrow to do some Christmas shopping - hungover no doubt and I've to head out Saturday from 6pm too :(

I have so many jobs to do at home, including a downloads folder that's grown to 200GB to organize, plus the place is in a tip

    With all that said.....

    PAY DAY!!! :D

Toy Show themed staff party? :)

Sounds like a decent tradition. Sure only once a year, why not keep it up? :) (Now sound like a pusher of some sort) Or was the can of mineral just replaced by something stronger. :P

Will watch it as well. Can't miss the Billy Barry Kids on the one night of the year they're let out in the wild.

Love your Mum's Toy Show tradition, dwg! :D

Pat Kenny killed my love of the Toy Show. It all felt very forced when he presented it. Tubs is no better. I miss the excitement of the Toy Show! :(

We don't really watch the late late show up north. This show has been hyped up, so I hope it lives up to the billing!

It probably won't - it was magical as a child but as an adult it's only worth watching for the hilarity of the kids explaining how the toys work! Bless they're cotton socks!

Yeah, it was amazing as a kid alright!
I think one of the kids from my class on placement is meant to be on it so will be glued to that :pac:

Nooooo idea I'm afraid....still....the show hasn't been the same, I think they need a younger person who'll build up a better relationship with the people being interviewed than Tubridy. I see the Graham Norton show and his relaxed style of asking questions whilst having a laugh and think it's what Irish TV is crying out for - well....that little rant came out of nowhere!! :pac:

That child is living the dream....lucky git!

Gaybo was a million times better, mostly because you could tell he really hated Dustin, I mean he knew it was just a puppet but he frikken hated that puppet with a pashion!

I'm just surprised KKK wasn't on the show as a Billie Barry Kid. :p
