Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

First Christmas in two years that my desk isn't covered in notes and I don't have a 6,000 word essay due. Looking forward to putting my feet up. Hope folks around here are able to do the same. :)

No such luck. Have to go do that socialising thing I hear people do.

Now what to wear? Do I wear my hair up or down?

I took a half day at work, the second half of the day was being spent doing a "pot luck".
Basically everyone brings in food and they all sit down and eat it together. I asked the boss could I just head off as it wasn't really "my thing" as I put it to him, he was not impressed at all.
They are very into the team building and happy times where I work, that's fantastic if that's what your into, I'm not though. I'd rather go in, get the work done, have a joke or two while ye are at it, and get the fúck on home!

    Bah humbug!
    (I stopped into a 7Eleven on the way home, bought a 3piece dinner...in a word...wrong.)

I was trying to be good as I planned on being on the road early today. However I'm still sitting on my sofa here in Dublin and too lazy to move.. so will have some food and then try and find some motivation to get moving :o

Woke up thinking it was Christmas morning...no such luck. I still need to wrap all my presents today, visit a friend, make a trifle and bake some cookies. And be at Christmas Mass at 9pm. And clean the house...:(

I plan on being home by 3. Think since they started playing Christmas songs on the radio this month, the one I've heard the most is "Driving Home For Christmas"

Hope you're all enjoying the hols :D

This is why I'm reluctant to say Merry Christmas to people, in case I accidentally continue.

And really liked The Snowman and the Snowdog. Sad and happy.
