Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

pete taylor: "relieved? i'll be relieved when she's standing on top of the podium. we came here to win gold, not for a bronze medal."

    Love it.

Wow i must say what an awesome fighter katie is, I dare to say she could probably compete in one of the mens lighter weight divisions and be not out of place. She looks out of this world, gold medal has to be guaranteed(touch wood)

She trains with the lads fyi.
I'm going to stumble outside and get some exercise myself. I'll be checking back here to see what i'm missing. Hopefully there will be some good highlights on later. There's not enough of a recap on other events later in the night imo.

No idea if he'll do both. He'll only be 31 then so it's possible!

Pretty sure it was Jake Humphrey who asked him about track in 2016. Th Guardian also mention a Cav & King Sideburns 'dream team' along side Ed Clancy.

Its 6 events, and it involves time trails sprints a distance race and other events.

Yeah I seen one of the Irish riders, I don't think he knew he was meant to jump the fences not run trough them.

I jest, our team has the talent, its just getting it right on the day.

I was watching the mens vault final there, some poor chap from Chile got squeezed out of a bronze medal at the very end. He'd previously come fourth in the floor exercise. That must be sickening, I think I'd rather be last than fourth.

Some of these track cycling events are kind of mad. I mean its all a bit Thunderdome-ish. Surprised they don't give them the odd chainsaw or two to hack up their opponents :pac:

Considering its a womens race on at the moment that would be quite the feat!!!
