Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That's probably why they made up the 'Team GB' moniker instead of just going as Great Britain.

They can chose to compete with either Team GB or Ireland, so not really.

If it was Team GB and Northern Ireland it would have to be Ireland and Northern Ireland.

I'd love if some completely made-up, but plausibly-named "country" snuck in. Would love to hear the commentators just go with it.

A study released in 2003 revealed that 8 percent of the males living in the regions of the former Mongolian Empire carried a nearly identical Y chromosome, suggesting that they were all direct descendants of Genghis Khan and his many sons. According to the study, as many as 0.5 percent of all males on the planet today may be descendants of Genghis Khan.
