Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They play volleyball and beach volleyball :P 2 different things. You'd think the sand would get very heavy.

Ian Thorpe is a great pundit and ridiculously camp to boot!

Ian Thorpe is a great pundit and ridiculously camp to boot!

    So what.

I heard about his campiness from an Australian where he is treated like royalty. He also has his own jewellery and fashion line. He has said he is heterosexual. So maybe.

But he is a good pundit and this is London 2012 not London 1948.

Don't think he meant it in an insulting way...

Anyone know if our canoeist has gone?

Women's artistic gymnastics coming up on BBC3 at a quarter to. This is the third subdivision and is one of the most exciting as it features the favourites, USA. GB are in it too and they have a great shot of qualifying for Team Finals.

Murray coming up in tennis now. Major question marks though over why they are not showing action from court one where Djokovic is in action

There's 10 races altogether. I think you score points based on where you place in each race and they're added together with the best 10 teams going into the final medal race.

Our canoeist did well, he's in the lead for now.

Not much it lets you know if something is on, not where.

You still have to scan all 24 channels to spot the sport or find one showing listings and wait while it scrolls around.

They have the listings but are hiding them very, very well.

Canoeist in second at the moment, apparently he is contesting the 2 point penalty he recieved as he feels it was incorrect. That'll put him into first afaik. Still some competitors to run however.

I hope the Russian can keep up with the leaders - she made that break away group - deserves a medal!

Some sponsors and media people haven't shown up to use their allocated tickets but it's still not surprising to see so empty seat at some Olympic events like swimming and football .If you don't offer the tickets before to the general public at a reasonable price then what do you expect .

I think she might of been taking a breather, letting the other 2 do most of the work but she would need to kick with about 6km to go if she is going to get gold,

The penalty point is now removed, but he's still in 2nd place.

I play golf with Fererica's father. He's actually a Corkman living in Co.Down. She uses her mother's family name. Good looking girl too. She swims in the 400m freestyle tonight at 8.15p.m. She is the reigning World Champion and World Record holder.

Have you ever got up on her?

Hopefully - the commentators are kind of slating her which is annoying.

I wonder how much the tickets are for the football, anyone know?

On another note, the state of the pitch at old Trafford, not good with the start of the season only 3 weeks ago, greedy glazers just had to rent it out for the Olympics.

They relayed it after last season AFAIK.
