Been years since I got hooked up with a wrasse (used to be called Rock Bream in my area when I was a kid) and fancy a go ahead (yes, I have the spark plug collection for the rough ground!).

Anyone recommend hotspots for wrasse on the east coast - Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford - from the shore? Any tips on the locations speced (baits, float v bottom, fly etc).

    Much appreciated for any insights.

i don't fish for wrasse myself, but a friend of mine says he used to get nice
wrasse from the rocky side of the west pier in Dun Laoghaire.
i would imagine, your best bet would be to look out for known rocky
    pollock marks.

There's a new Tackle shop in Shankill village, the lads in there will tell you all you need to know, don't have to phone no. to hand but just call in and ask.
