Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We should get through... Although we were saying that after we were drawn against a certain Icelandic team

    Rovers away is not ideal

    Happy with that.

Would have hoped for an easier draw than Rovers away!

Could've been better but could've been worse. Glad of the home draw. We would definitely have been out if we were drawn away to Derry.

A stressfree home dismissal of non-league opposition this year please

    :D
I'm confident. But not overly so. And Christ knows what form will be like in 6 weeks time.

Drogs away. I'm sure we'll be thrashed, but it's another ground off my list if I go up.

You'll love the comfort of United Park, or O2 Park, or Hunky Dory Park or whatever it's called this season.

Going to head up with the Avondale lads to Bohs away.

Usually go to their games anyway if I've free time so should make the trip.

What's the bets on that happening?

FAI trolling poor St. Pats by giving them a bye into the quarters. What's it now, 307 years since they've won the cup?

    Ireland's Blue Ribband Club.

I'd wager they will have an easy enough time anyway.

CCFC away to Shams - nice from the point of view of gate money. Nothing to be afraid of either with them as they look like a team who were only assembled yesterday lately. Probably be on TV as well I assume.

Looks like it should be a fairly strong quarter final line up from that draw.

My heart says Bohs to easily beat Avondale.... My head says "FFS man, think of that money you lost when you bet on them to beat Thor in the Europa League"

    ;)

Where will the Malahide v Dundalk game be played?

Bit worried about this BYE crowd? Anyone seen them play?

Optimistic of getting tru the tie but you never know.

    I hear they're a walkover.

Would you bet on them or us?

Say Malahide will want it at home, they've a decent set up afaik. Glen Crowe is going to score a hat trick I'd say! :D

Cherry Orchard at home, handy in a way but weary of the unknown!

Could the accommodate a couple of hundred of fans? Was thinking they might play it in Tolka but can't see that happening with Shels also getting a home draw.

Like when we played Crumlin and they moved it to Tolka it was purely financial reasons and easier for them (we provided all stewards, etc...) so it depends what Malahide are thinking.

Say it could hold a few hundred. Morton could be another option for them too I'd guess.

Shamrock Rovers v Cork City obviously the tie of the round although the Shelbourne v Cherry Orchard tie could be an interesting one as well.
