    Seeing as Emo Vegan did a diary i too will tell my tale.

    Drove a GoKart to Cork on Friday, worst driving postion ever! My hip was absolutely in tatters yesterday, walked all the kilometres to get breakfast (was worth it) then spent the day watching people be sad. Spent most of the evening being going completely mental with some sort of nervous emoness. Ate pizza, nearly caused WWIII and went to sleep.

    Woke up even more completely mental, drove to the venue ate the things,
    missed Behdad Salamis lifting, saw the tail end of Herr Ministers tale of woe and caught Vegan on his way off the platform.

    Ate all the ibuprofens and spent like an hour trying to un**** my hip which seemed to work.

    Warmed up alright, failed 85 behind, then 90 behind, which normally means i'm going to snatch well, then went 95, 100, realised after the hundred that the mike was broken and i had 40seconds left on the clock! Ran to platform lifted the thing.

    Failed, 108 behind, was stupid close, got 110, shoulda gone 107, 111,115

    Was sitting on the couch arsing around, when it occured to me that there was 7 lifts untill i opened.. so rushed through a warm-up, the plan was to open 130, but i decided 135 after i hit 125, i loaded 130 and went to pull it, turns out i'd misloaded it and dropped it above the knee.

    At this stage the clock had started, so i loaded 130 properly and just deadlifted it to get a feel. Ran out again and lifted the thing.

    Would have liked to go 135140/? for the lulz, hopefully next time my warm ups will be less of a WOD.

    Then i ate cake.

    Things i learned... I like cake, i need to fix my hip, i will never be able to grow a beard, i will get a 300 sinclair sooner rather than later and that woman has the patience of a saint.
