Fancy dress costume

Hi all, trying to put together a Gannicus costume for an upcoming fancy dress. Im trying to find (if it exists) a large ammount of leather or leather like material that I can cut into strips and shapes myself! Anyone know where I might get this? Also any other items that I need that you thinkof would be very helpful
