The Theme is Money - coins, notes, old, new or foreign, up close or 'heaps of them' - it's your choice!

    The rules:
-Photos must be posted within 2 weeks of the day the task was set– so the closing time/date is 9.00am on Tuesday, 31st July 2012.
    -No old photos.
-Only photos taken with this task in mind qualify, therefore, the photo must be taken after 9.00am July 17th 2012.
-Photos must be on the given task.
-ONE photo per post, but submit as many posts as you like.
-Stretch yourself – there is no limitation to what you can do to produce the image.
-The next task/subject is to be chosen by the person who has the most thanks after their post at the closing date/time (the post must include a photo).

I don't have any pix of money, so you'll need to excuse the lack of examples here....:o

...so now....Show us the money! :D

She is keps and had a look at the thread earlier today... :) Just wondering how much 'additional' time should be given for thanks, so people who posted late have a chance to get some...

Don't really want to step on anybody's toes...:D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,324 ✭✭✭keps

Once the competition is over it's over- so it concluded at 9 am this morning.

People are aware of the time rules and that if they post late they will just run out of time/thanks.

I think you really should announce the winner -so a new challenge can commence:)

  • Registered Users Posts: 271 ✭✭Nebezpeci Mys

    Very well, impatient keps... :)

Congratulations to Dacogawa for the money-inspired 'portrait' and honourable mentions to keps for his 'money-drying' and 'loo roll' shots.

Well done to all who participated!

Dacogawa, the next challenge theme is yours!

Thank you Nebezpeci Mys, I'm very surprised the 'humor portrait' won! Thanks for the thanks everyone :) there were some great photos there! Keps the 'loo roll' still has me smirking, the cognac was a great touch!

I'll have a look at the assignment list and a good think overnight, will post up the new challenge around 12pm tomorrow

    Thanks again everyone

Well done dacogawa- that was a totally deserved win for you.

You 'caught the moment' in your response to Tallon's witty comment - and came up with a truly great shot.

    Looking forward to your challenge:)

It should be compulsory for exif data to be available for every entry ( imo )

Won't work - what about film?

It has to be on the honour system. Sometimes people forget (or don't know) the rules. All that is ever needed is a gentle reminder - it is for fun after all :)

Almost forgot - congrats to dacogawa and keps - its not often that money issues cause me to smile these days!
