Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dublin's O'Connell Street, will it ever not be a kip?

Regeneration, fancy new footpaths, new trees-it's still a kip. Tacky fast food emporia line it, no shops of any real note are found on it, no nice cafes or bars really. Loads of money spend on 'regeneration' but no real change, still have junkies hanging around and a general feeling of it not being safe, especially the end near the former Ambassador cinema.

The regeneration never got finished. Quirkeys or whatever its called needs to go. Such a haven of scum and villainy.

Never, because Ireland can't into nice architecture and coherent planning.

The actual area itself isn't a Kip.
Its the Lowlife hanging around it IMO.

Will always be a kip because of sh*thole areas that surround it, full of wellfare slobs who spend their money on booze and chicken nuggets and coke for their kids, bringing them up without an ounce of respect for anything, and nearby methadone clinics. That's about all there is to say on the matter!

    Never been to Dublin.

The people here have though, maybe start a new thread there.
