Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, i have decided to make a go at photography as a career, and i am looking for a kind photographer in the Dublin 12 or surrounding area to let me come and follow him/her around for just a few hours as a once off. I am very much still in the amateur rankings, both in regard of skill and gear, but i really want to prepare myself for the task, and im a strong believer in learning by doing, or in this case, seeing you do the work.

While with you i am happy to carry stuff/make tea/be errand boy etc, just want to get a chance to see you work. A studio would be fantastic, as i think that is probably where i would be headed, but i am 100% open to anything ( pet photography etc anything )

You can pm me here if you are willing to let me follow you for a few hours, if by some miracle more than one pm comes, i will do them all!

Failing this, i would be looking for people in Dublin 12 who want free photos taken by an amateur ( me ) with no charge or costs ( just to practice! )

    Thanks a million,

    Paraic.

Look out for the buddies thread, and if you are looking for practice then why not pop up a services offered post on the services offered/wanted thread on the main forum.

Nothing guaranteed from it but has been known to happen in the past.

Thanks, already signed up on buddies thread, will post in the services offered/wanted thread, as that seems perfect. Cheers.
