I was reading a book recently about the map-making and the ordnance survey, and in it a person described how he had a map of the world on the wall of his hall way, and he asked visitors to put a pin in it marking not where they lived, not where they were born but rather where they thought they BELONGED.

It must have taken him a while to find people who thought they belonged in either of the top corners of the map in order to get the pins in the appropriate place to keep the map hanging.
