Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cycling event

    Folks

    There is a cycle challenge on in Kilkenny on 4 August 2012 (Saturday of the August Bank Holiday weekend), starting at the Kilkenny Rugby Club which is just outside Kilkenny city. It starts at the Kilkenny Rugby club and there are four routes taking in a lot of Co. Kilkenny. All money raised from this event is for Barretstown Children Camp, an organisation that help to rebuild children's lives who suffer serious illnesses such as cancer.

    We're looking for enthusiatic photographers to help us out on the day. Basically we would hope that the volunteer would take some good shots on the day and then make them freely available for distribution to participants etc. There are a lot of cycling events on at the moment so offering this kind of service allow us to stand out from the crowd a bit, increase participation and ultimately raises more moeny for Barretstown Children Camp.

    Everyone who works on this event, from the organsiers to the marshalls, are giving their time, expertise and equipment for free so it would be great if we could get some photographers involved on the same basis! Last year we had over 650 cyclists and it provided the photographer that day great opportunities of sport photos for his portfolio. Full acknowledgement will be given to photographers and of course there is no problem with imprint of names on the photos!
