Cancelling a DD payment to a BOI loan

I have cleared off my loan before the end of term but the DD is still set up.

As there is no way of doing this through 365 online I tried to get somebody by phone but they told me to contact the branch. However, when I got through, I was told that the only way to cancel a DD is in person in the branch or by sending in a written request.

Given the security measures when ringing banking 365, are these the only options available?

    Thanks

    Hi callronan,

You can only cancel the direct debit or standing order by written instruction to your branch or calling into the branch. You can find details of your branch here.

    Thanks
    Linda
