Well I'm getting well and truly spanked by now!!
True. The main difference between the sides seems to be the set piece. I was suprised that you leave Aitken on the bench tbh (although I obviously have no idea of his stats). Also your line-out is a major weak point considering mine isn't that great either.
If you have the money I'd try get in a decent lock as that would improve things for you immensly imo.
Also on top of all that I'd like to think that I gained something from my 10 seasons managing Grubber! And this is by no means a hammering in br world!
Edit: ha as i typed you turned over a lineout and scored, told you that improving your lineout would work wonders

Yeah good points, I might try and switch around the pack a bit to get Aitken in there to improve the scrum. My second row is definitely my weak point though! Something I've been looking to work on. Good game though, maybe by the return leg I can turn a few things around and overturn the result 0 -

Having a really good game with Slashers. 7 - 5 down at half time. His team is significantly better than mine, so presume he has some of his second string out, but really have punched above my weight fine tuning my tactics. My 10 missed a conversion in front and I blew 2 consecutive try opportunities 5 metres out and line out is still crippling me, but away from home, very happy with that first half. 0

Despite losing 11 lineouts against the throw, lost 10 - 5. Feel like I could have won that with a second row and better handling skills. Also my captain turned down three or four kickable penalties, opting instead for the corner - followed by losing lineouts on the line multiple times. Oh well, just don't have the players yet, but happy with the progress being made. 0

You really put it up to me, fair play! I had a few rested, simply cos others hadnt been playing at all with cup and M&S cup.. Return leg will be very difficult!0 -

I was about to say "Don't put yourself down, there's no reason for him to rest people on a Thursday!" But then....You really put it up to me, fair play! I had a few rested, simply cos others hadnt been playing at all with cup and M&S cup.. Return leg will be very difficult!
:pac:Woke up about half way through last season and started mincing teams!
