I was contemplating setting a team, then was pretty confident that I'd get slaughtered (as I'm pretty sure I tried the first time around.) All about avoiding relegation this weather :)

hows good ole Div 4 looking nowadays guys?

I'll do up Div I & II tables tonight after training... hopefully Mar-z will be along to update III & IV and something else will get div V updated soon!

    Div I

    W D L PF PA PD B (L) B (T) Points
    polk high 9 8 0 1 359 94 265 0 6 38
    Fight club 48ers 9 8 0 1 282 105 177 0 5 37
    Forza Juve 9 6 0 3 272 120 152 2 5 31
    Mauling Bear 9 5 0 4 166 136 30 1 2 23
    Bogwarriors 9 4 0 5 150 281 -131 0 3 19
    everyone likes a tryer 9 3 0 6 134 247 -113 1 2 15
    Scorched Earth 9 1 2 6 88 242 -154 0 1 7
    Barracuda Rugby 9 0 2 7 110 281 -171 1 1 6

Polk high continued their domination with a large win in the last round. Fight club though are resilient in hanging on with only a point between them after 9 rounds. bog warriors and ELAT continue their switching of 5/6 depending who played but can both secure survival if beat teams below them and make a fresh assault next season, claiming 3rd place looks to be beyond either this season. Forza are in prime position for 3rd but have Mauling bear hanging around like a bad smell only 8pts behind so run of results and things could change. looks like barracuda and scorched earth are heading down, will either manage to turn around their season? Barracuda did well to get a losing bonus and try bonus on in last round to move them within a point of moving from the bottom of the table.

    Div II

    P W D L PF PA PD B (L) B (T) Points
    Toronto Rucks 9 8 0 1 309 89 220 1 6 39
    bjd panthers 9 7 0 2 233 118 115 0 4 32
    Lunster 9 5 0 4 187 101 86 4 4 28
    grubber rfc 9 4 0 5 221 152 69 2 2 20
    Geraldine RFC 9 4 0 5 145 199 -54 1 1 18
    Curly Sue Death Squad 9 3 0 6 134 264 -130 2 1 15
    men who stare at goats 9 2 1 6 131 271 -140 0 2 12
    Gideons 9 2 1 6 102 262 -160 0 0 10

BJD may have lost their their title challenge with a surprise loss to MWSTAG. this win for MWSTAG lifted them off the bottom and within reach of moving out of the relegation zone, a lifeline to Crisco10! CSDS lost also and have fallen into a relegation dog fight which was unwanted by them, they need to pick up a few wins to guarantee safety. toroto rucks smashed their opposition by nearly 50pts, proving they should fair well in div I next season as it is extremely unlikely at this stage they will fail to promote

    Div IV

    Club | Played | W | L | c | For | Against | Margin | BT | BL | Total
    Dread0s | 9 | 8 | 0 | 1 | 285 | 84 | 201 | 4 | 0 | 38
    Fingal Physicians | 9 | 7 | 2 | 0 | 197 | 154 | 43 | 1 | 0 | 29
    Rath Rugby Club | 9 | 5 | 3 | 1 | 205 | 115 | 90 | 3 | 2 | 27
    Revan RFC | 9 | 5 | 4 | 0 | 193 | 157 | 36 | 1 | 1 | 22
    Chocolate Chompers | 9 | 3 | 6 | 0 | 127 | 186 | -59 | 2 | 2 | 16
    Ulster trials | 9 | 3 | 6 | 0 | 128 | 183 | -55 | 1 | 0 | 13
    Mayo Migrants | 9 | 2 | 7 | 0 | 96 | 242 | -146 | 1 | 1 | 10
    Casey's Guinness | 9 | 1 | 8 | 0 | 78 | 164 | -86 | 0 | 2 | 6

Dread0s' look to be unstoppable at the top of the table after winning all their games since a week 1 draw. They could well go unbeaten this season on their way to division III. The race for 2nd is hotting up with Fingal Physicians leapfrogging Rath Rugby Club. Revan still has an outside shot as well if they get a run of results but 3rd is most definitely a target for them. Chocolate Chompers have put together a couple of results since the last update and have moved out of the relegation zone. Although they can still get dragged back down. A win in week 9 has Ulster Trials just above the relegation points having slipped into it in the previous weeks. Mayo Migrants are off the bottom and actually spent a week outside the relegation zone between this update and the last so they will give it their all to survive. Finally Casey's Guinness are on a bad run and have dropped to rock bottom.

    Div III

    Club | Played | W | L | D | For | Against | Margin | BT | BL | Total
    ladyboys | 9 | 9 | 0 | 0 | 329 | 110 | 219 | 5 | 0 | 41
    Wandering Wanderers | 9 | 8 | 1 | 0 | 220 | 87 | 133 | 5 | 1 | 38
    Westside | 9 | 4 | 5 | 0 | 156 | 239 | -83 | 1 | 0 | 17
    front row fairies | 9 | 4 | 5 | 0 | 143 | 174 | -31 | 0 | 0 | 16
    kilsough South Warriors | 9 | 3 | 6 | 0 | 166 | 199 | -33 | 1 | 1 | 14
    newcastle west | 9 | 3 | 6 | 0 | 135 | 200 | -65 | 1 | 1 | 14
    Reaper RFC | 9 | 3 | 6 | 0 | 126 | 205 | -79 | 1 | 1 | 14
    YerMen | 9 | 2 | 7 | 0 | 74 | 145 | -71 | 0 | 4 | 12

Division III has to be the most exciting division in the league. While the top 2 teams Ladyboys and Wandering Wanderers are comfortably running away at the top and will be promoted, either team can claim the top spot with only 3 points between them. The real excitement is places 3-8 in the division. Any of these teams have a realistic chance of either the 3rd place trophy or relegation and it's one I really can't call with all 6 of the teams showing themselves of beating any of the others on any given day. Only 5 points seperate 3rd plae Westside with last placed YerMen. Front Row Fairies are a point behind Westside and the other 3 are level on points. Will be incredivly harsh on whichever teams eventually get relegated.

FiveFour - you have a potential 20pts on offer! 14 games in total, no playoffs etc.

Edit: you were right, 4 left. forgot today was thursday and so now I have realised I set no team/tactics etc! :o afraid to see the results!

I think I'm about ready to give up. After tonight's pounding and my league loss at the weekend, I'm beginning to think it might be simpler to introduce my starting 15 to the idea of Hari Kari.

Do you know when season 17 registrations will open up? I've been playing in the WCC for the last 5 seasons and am interested in getting back into this.

Actually think I'll start one now, might make things move quicker for the end of the season. Or more accurately can you or fewcifur to either change the name of the sign-up sticky/create a new sticky for S17? It will help the moderating itch I'm sure you need to scratch what with everyone here being so well behaved!

Eire the registrations first go to the teams already there and then open up to new or returning teams. However to make up numbers there are two affiliate clubs who will only stay in if we don't have fill those spaces with new managers (so there are two open spaces for next season).

SomethingElse has been looking after div. V but has obviously had a busy couple of weeks which happens (the 3 matches un-updated cover literally just a 2 week span). I was missing myself for a similar time just there recently.

I'll update it when I do the divs III and IV if it hasn't been done yet.

But I'm sure SomethingElse wouldn't be offended if you wanted to do an update (I definitely wouldn't be).

Hey guys, sorry for the delay in the update, it's been a busy few weeks. I should have the tables done up by this evening, but if anyone wants to update them in the meantime feel free to do so :)

fairly sure you didn't, no one in here is touchy about it. it's a game life gets in the way so if the tables have not been updated and someone has time then feel free to do them. keeps everyone happy!

Sure see above Macslash interrogating me on the table trying to find errors...he didnt! (phew!:P)
