Ugh, my victory did nothing for my league position/relegation battle really, since everyone else near the bottom won too. I reckon it'll come down to a big Geraldine v CSDS face-off to decide.

Division I is getting very exciting in the middle of the table. with two teams on 24pts one on 21 and Scorched Earth still with an outside chance of getting out of the relegation zone if can pick up 3 wins and hope ELAT lose at least one (and no bonus pts) or lose two and then they are safe. In this zone there are a number of head to heads over the final few round so all guns will be blazing! Polk High and Fight club are neck and neck in joint 1st, with fight club in 2nd due to inferior points difference. expect these two to be going out to put big scores to secure first place as they have played each other twice so both should be expecting (hoping) to pick up the remaining 3 wins. lets see how this league pans out. every season these divisions get tighter, all teams improving, therefore a successful tournament with the tight competition!

    Division II

    P W D L PF PA PD B (L) B (T) Points
    Toronto Rucks 11 9 0 2 373 129 244 1 7 44

    Gideons 10 2 1 7 112 314 -202 0 0 10

Toronto too their eye of the ball and suffered a significant defeat (30-10) defeat to Lunster which boosts Lunster up the table. BJD unfortunately for them also slumped to a defeat and could not capitalise, are the top two teams buckling under the pressure? time will tell as lunster is closing the gap (now only 5 points) on BJD so they are in danger of not promoting straight back up. The relegation zone here is also hot, with 3 teams all within two pts capable of surviving and sending a foe to relegation, there are a number of battles here over the next 3 rounds that will decide one teams relegation fate. but all 3 teams have it in their hands to save themselves so game on as they say!!

3 rounds remaining and couldn't be tighter in the top two divisions!

Two bonus losses... that means you nearly won two matches. I fear your predictions may be correct, in which case you're like the kid from the Omen, we have to be brave and strike you down before you become too powerful!

There is much decided with still more to play for in division IV. Firstly congrats to the Div IV overlords the Dread0's who are guaranteed the gold with weeks to spare. Commiserations to Casey's Guinness who can no longer hope a run of results will come to the rescue.

Fingal and Rath are both almost confirmed with trophies with Fingal needing a solitary point (or not to lose out on their large pd advantage on Chocolate Chompers) in the last two weeks to secure silverware, while Rath need only two (and have a bigger pd advantage). The main excitement here is which team will take 2nd and promotion! Fingal have to play Chompers and Dread0s so probably have the tougher task.

Chocolate Chompers and Revan are secure in mid table, although Chompers do have a big long shot at silverware still.

Mayo Migrants need to overcome a 6 point gap to avoid relegation by overtaking Ulster Trials. Ulster Trials victory over the Migrants in week 12 may well have been a fatal blow though.

    kilsough South Warriors | 12 | 3 | 9 | 0 | 190 | 279 | -89 | 1 | 1 | 14

Div III is still close to call at top and bottom. The only thing decided with 2 weeks to go (and it's been decided for a while now) is that Ladyboys and Wandering Wanderers will both be playing in Div II next season. The question is which will finish at the top of the table? Ladyboys with 12 wins from 12 and a 4 point advantage have to be favourites.

As for the rest of the division. It is still possible for 3rd placed Front Row Fairies to be relegated by finishing 7th and for bottom placed Kilsout South to finish 4th. Below the top 2 everyone is capable of beating eachother so it may come down to the teams still to play the top two will lose out.

Ladyboys next 2 games are Westside and Reaper. Wandering Wanderers face Kilsough and Westside. So by my logic I fear for Westside's and Kilsough's (who are currently 5 points adrift) survival in Div III.

    Blue Magic | 12 | 1 | 11 | 0 | 151 | 421 | -270 | 0 | 2 | 6

Congratulations to The Dannys who, in maintaining their unbeaten record, secured the championship with a resounding 37-7 victory away to the Westmen. Elsewhere in the division the Edmonton Eggchasers upset second placed Celtic Superstars 15-14 in their clash at The Oval. It was also a memorable week for Blue Magic as they recorded their first win of the campaign, a closely fought 22-21 victory over Nenagh Ormond at New Ormond Park. The Slashers also tasted success in Gameweek 12, as they defeated Nanjing RFC on a scoreline of 13-12; incredibly three of the week's fixtures ended with just a single point seperating the sides.

Tonight sees the champions host The Slashers. The Slashers will be looking to avenge their narrow defeat when the two teams met at Machale Stadium earlier this season. The Dannys meanwhile will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run; only Ladyboys of Div III have an equal record to the Div V champions, in having thus far having gone unbeaten through the league. The Edmonton Eggchasers host Westmen in their duel in Alberta, Canada. With the end of the season fast approaching, Westmen, under pressure from The Slashers, will be looking for the points to secure third place. Second place remains an outside possibility, but they will need to begin by picking up a bonus point tonight while hoping that the Celtic Superstars fail to secure any points from their match this evening. A victory for the Eggchasers could see a shoot-out for a top-half finish with The Slashers in Gameweek 16, should the Machale Stadium outfit fail to pick up points tonight. Blue Magic, buoyed by their maiden win, will be looking to claim another scalp when they host Celtic Superstars in South Dublin tonight. A point at the RDS would see the Superstars claim promotion with a game to spare, while Blue Magic's promises of being 'unbeatable' will no doubt be ringing in the Superstars players ears as the teams line out. Nenagh Ormond and Nanjing RFC, both beaten by a solitary point in Gameweek 12, will be looking to make amends for their marginal defeats. The Nanjing Bowl will be the venue this clash, with the visitors looking to reclaim fifth position in the table from Edmonton Eggchasers. The hosts, however, will have other ideas, as a win tonight coupled with a victory over Blue Magic in Matchday 14 could see the Westmeath outfit overhaul tonight's opponents in the final league standings.

Still to play for in week 14 is which of Fingal Physicians or Rath Rugby Club will get 2nd place and the promotion that goes with it and which will have to settle for a 3rd place trophy.

If Ladyboys avoid defeat in week 14 they will be the div III champions and only losing by a trashing would see them lose it at the last. Wandering Wanderers are the team with the slightest of chances of snatching it at the last and will themselves be promoted regardless.

3rd place is now between two teams Front Row Fairies and Yermen and as luck would have it Front Row travel to Yermen in week 14 for what is now essentially a 3rd/4th place play-off match.

Reaper are now safe from relegation and can start planning for next season in div III.

Newcastle West, Westside and Kilsough South Warriors are all in danger of the drop and will be looking to reach the remaining safe spot in the league.

Westside play Wandering Wanderers in week 14 and will nedd something special to pull off a victory while Newcastle West and Kilsough face each other. If hoe team Kilsough get a bonus point win they will move ahead of Newcastle otherwise they will be relegated.

It was also a memorable week for Blue Magic as they recorded their first win of the campaign, a closely fought 22-21 victory over Nenagh Ormond at New Ormond Park.

It was indeed, but I've more than a sneaky suspicion that he threw the game, either in a betting scandal, or cause he felt bad for me!! :pac:

Thank god Grubber are beating Curly Sue, otherwise that try would be the cause of my relegation!

Such an even game, did you look at the stats?!

I did see the stats, I watched the last 29 minutes and to be fair it was a end to end game that could have gone either way.

The last 5 had me biting my nails, such a close league this season div 2 and much more exciting than the league.
