Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Howdi all, Hope you guys could help me find a song from around 1994/5 that was played regularly on MTVs party zone with Simone. Its like a house tune, kind of X mix in style and the video was done like a cartoon. I remember there was elephants in the video with trumpets in their trunks dancing. The song had a trumpet sample also. The video for Circus Bells by Robert Armani reminds me of it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMRrSo408G4).

    Any help appreciated!

Feck me! After ages of looking I just found the first few seconds of it at the very end of this video as Laurent Garnnier fades out at 17mins 50. Any ideas? So close yet so far. :)

Even more randomly - that elephant cartoon (and lots like it) used to be shown on RTE at around 1750 every day back in the 1980's.

There were lots of them with no speaking.. cos they wern't in english (I think). It was mainly music / grunting noises & hi-pitched telephone voices :D

I think some were made by a Hungarian cartoon company if I remember rightly. Even though I was young, I remember thinking that they were kinda **** cartoons. Kinda cheap ass. I developed a funny impression of Hungary due to that. I haven't seen that in a lonnng time.

Cheers man, cos I'm gonna have to go & try and find some more of this hahaha

That elephant is "Hamilton - the musical elephant"

Great tune when he starts blowin'

Halas & Batchelor were the same guys that made Orwell's Animal Farm (cartoon) in 1954
