Hey all, finally scraped the money together to build a gaming pc, any help would be much appreciated

1. What is your budget? €950 (would bumping my budget up to €1000 make much of a difference?)
2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming
3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes
4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No
5. Do you need a monitor? Yes, but I'm going to put my budget into the computer itself, so I don't need one yet
6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Im not too sure whats listed here because I copy/pasted someone elses used template
7. Are you willing to try overclocking? I'm not too sure how to do it so I wouldn't want to screw anything up so no
8. How can you pay? Any way really
9. When are you purchasing? This weekend hopefully if all the parts are picked
10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Galway

You could spend a good but less if you wanted. There's no real need for a GTX 670 at this point in time unless you're running more than one monitor. You could probably drop to a 7850 if you wanted. If you're a student you can get windows here.

Can everyone get that script to run but me?

I'd still go with a 3570K even though you wont OC at the moment. In 3 years time when its seeming a bit slow and you're not so worried about bricking you nice shiny new machine you can crack it up to 4.5Ghz for the last bit of life out of it.

Also 670 v ATI price drop on there cards - perhaps better bang for the buck out of a 7970 now?

You using Chrome? Balls.... should have waited the extra week. Even though it would have made literally no difference, the extra gig of vram would have been nice.

after copy paste see if javascript: is still at the start if not then enter it... in chrome you have to enter it manually even though you pasted it

Thank you all for the replies I'm only going to use one monitor so should I use a 7850 instead? I also think getting an overclockable processor is probably a good idea even though I have no idea how to actually overclock it but I'll find out somehow :P

Oh ye here ya go. I don't know much about wifi cards. I got the logilink card. It's rubbish. Pick any other.
