Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ipad 3 not charging

I bought a new 16Gb ipad 3rd generation on Monday. This morning when I woke up I plugged the charger into the wall and its not charging? I think the problem lies with the plug because when I plugged the Usb into the laptop it connected to Itunes but I got a warning on the ipad "Not Charging". I'm currently restoring the Ipad back to factory settings via itunes.

    Anyone else have similar problems?

Not sure about the mains issue but your iPad won't charge connecting it to a laptop or pc/mac

i'd bring it back to the shop

It's more than likely the plug. Most computers USB ports aren't powerful enough to charge the new iPad. Have you tried a different plug socket, or putting a different USB cable in the plug?

Restore away mad, it can't hurt.

Also make sure you're using the wall plug you go with your iPad and not an iPhone one, it could make the difference. As bertie said above it will depend specifically on the PC/Mac whether it's capable of charging the iPad.

Got it sorted anyway they gave me a replacement charger not an apple one tough it's a Logitech one but it seems better the power cord is bigger ;)
