OP - A sunroof will generally reduce available headroom in the car by 3-4cms, make sure you're OK with that before you commit.

I've had 3 cars, all with sunroofs, the current one also with aircon. Even on average days I'd use aircon rather than windows or the roof.

I'm 6' 2"and a sunroof is really a luxury I could only afford in something with a really high roof given the choice. Otherwise I'd rather not have one.

Hmm 1130 is a nice bit of money but could still be cheaper than changing the car I wounder?

Is that by the company in Dublin?

Any idea how long it would take them to fit to?

They said about two days. The car will most likely be kept a few more years so, for me at least, that outlay is worth it.

Any update with this since MuppetCheck ?

Think I am going to do the same too,

I've been quoted 1250 for a tilt and slide sunroof with sunblind from Autoglaze

and Cartronics 1350 for the same

And other companies in Ireland that fit sunroofs ?

Google and has just thrown up the two,

maybe someone on here know some other places that fit them too as I am based in the north west :D

I have a Webasto tilt and slide sunroof in my '09 Qashqai installed by Autoglaze that was fitted by the first owner. To be honest if you didn't know it you wouldn't know it wasn't a factory fitted one, a very neat job. Closes automatically when you switch off the ignition too.
