I can't edit my own posts

    As per the title I can't edit my own posts.

    The edit option isn't available to me when I view my posts.

    Can someone who knows how please switch this on for me.

    If it's an old post (more than 48 hours old, I believe), then you won't be able to edit it.

    +1. If there's something that needs to be drastically changed, your best bet is to PM the mods of the forum and see if they are willing to change it. If it's a post in a busy forum like AH, though, this will more than likely be impossible due to the sheer volume of the posts in that forum.
