A new bus route will be introduced in Cork on Sunday.
The 215 will connect Cloghroe, Tower, Blarney, Blackpool, the city centre, Ballinlough Road and MahonPoint. It replaces Route 224 from Cloghroe to the city centre and the eastern section of Route 210 between the city centre and MahonPoint. The 215 will operate on a 30-minute weekday frequency from 06:35 to 23:35. On Saturday there are services every 30 minutes from 07:35 to 23:23 and on Sundays there will be hourly services from 08:35 to 23:35.
In tandem with these improvements, Bus Éireann has introduced 15 new vehicles to its Cork fleet. All 15 vehicles are equipped with free Wi-Fi.
From Sunday Bus Éireann will also introduce changes to the 216 route that will now connect Mount Oval in rochestown to the CUH via the city centre and Glasheen Road.
It will replace the western section of Route 210 between the city centre and Glasheen Road.
From CUH there will be services every 30 minutes from 07:25 to 22:55, Monday to Saturday. On Sundays there are hourly services from CUH from 09:55 to 22:55.

Queries about the new routes can be directed to the Bus Éireann, Travel Centre in Parnell Place on (021) 4508188.
