Speech and Language / Social Worker

I'm trying to decide which I would like a career in the most.
I do think I'd enjoy both jobs just not sure.
I'm going to get some voluntary exp in both and then that will hopefully help me decide.

Your thoughts ? Anyone decide between these? Love to hear from you:)

They are both very different OP, really. SW can be quite jack of all trades, depending on the areas you want to specialise and work in; I cannot speak as much for Speech and Lanaguage but I imgaine it to be a lot more scientific/biological?

If I were you, I would write out all the pros and concerns you have of doing either course and work from there... work exp is great also, and maybe try shadow a SLT and a SW for a day to see what you think

I work in a unique enough setting and trained in similar settings; not in child protection so I cant speak for them. You always work on teams tho, and yes some work may be peripathetic but as a rule you have a team
