mulcher blades vs normal blades

my ride on came with mulcher blades as standard but the dealer said it was €50 extra to fit the normal cutting ones. Would the normal cutting ones give a nicer finish?

if youre collecting the grass then use normal blades, but mulching blades are better if not collecting

On a side note surely 50e is a tad excessive to change blades, all it involves is removing the bolts and tightening them again when you put your new blades on?
