Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I thinking to move near college for my final year, as I am trying to cut in hrs travelling to college every day, my question is. Would my BTE be affected if a change to a new address or would I have to reapply again or would be transferred and what is the process I need to take.

    Thanks

It depends, if you are already claiming BTEA when you move, I'm pretty sure there are no issues, except that the forms that they routinely send out to be stamped by the college, will go to the address you have registered with them. If you're, say, moving from the family home to student accomodation, it doesn't really matter, but for the three Summer months where you claim JSA, you will need to be claiming and signing in the area you live. Thus, if you plan to move back home during the Summer, then changing address is pointless - otherwise you will have to apply, and doing so now before the college year starts is a good idea (county changes usually result in you "missing" a week, which you can get backdated)
