The observant among you will note that I've omitted the number of repititions for each event entry. I did start logging them but it became pointless because they were almost as continuous as the music.

When you think about it the show started 16th June and on the 26 June and 7 July 2012 2 complaints upheld. That's bad form from a show that was only on air 10 days.

Also, if the psychics cannot claim to accurately foretell the future then what exactly is their purpose and why do people ring them. When John is telling some woman that she will go into a joint venture and make a lot of money is he not predicting the future? And all the other claptrap that they come out with, is that not predicting the future?

And this figleaf of "in my opinion" is no defence in MY opinion, its just an empty form of words, an addendum to what they want the callers to hear which is their prediction of the future.

Sure wasn't one of Flathan's favourite lines "I have to tell you it's in my opinion because of the rules of the show.". Now, you and I can see that this was him saying "Listen, these readings aren't in my opinion, they will come true, but the rules say we have to say it's all opinion.", but the vulnerable people desperately seeking solace in the show interpret it as "Listen, the mean regulators make us say this, but we really can give you all the answers and happiness you need...."


Of course, all of that is in my opinion...
