    Whether she was 10 or sixteen, it sounds like like he was breaking the law. Maybe that's why he hasn't rung in.

    That's probably where they came from in the first place. Anyway, she doesn't put them in the bin. I see her putting them back in the pile, and they seem to surface again for every third or fourth caller.

    Don't think he was a 'regular' caller though...someone else would have showed a little annoyance, or questioned, got confused...he didn't bat an eyelid.
