No - sorry spookwoman - I just figured '3rd parties' were reading the thread ;)
I really don't dislike the Flatman, but there's no way I was going out to Parkwest ... especially on a Sunday morning.

    Parkwest
You would need good insurance to make such a dangerous trip. ;)

    20 mins between call

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,937 ✭✭✭spookwoman

This call is not a good idea. Involves a minor, fostering. Not fair if she goes off and tells him something that doesnt come true

For all the callers who are unable for whatever reason, not able to get through to the show, they can obtain a reading free of charge, there is details about this on the website which is why I stress to people to check it out.

For the people requiring "after care" once they have been on the air, this is also available, usually the editor will mention in our ear that they are going to take the call into private and offer further help to the caller.

I understand your reasons of why you want the show taken off the air, but remember even if this show were to be removed, no doubt another "interactive service" would fill it's place. Potentially a worse service.

We as hosts don't feel we are scamming or ripping anyone off, and would not seek to do so, most of us work outside the show and support charities and assist a wide range of people who find readings helpful, and a comforting in difficult times.
I for one support neonatal units in my area, and also local cancer hospices, with my personal income and with events held.

The studio contract us in to do a job, and stay within the guidelines set out for us, we are only human and most working to support themselves and their family.

The support from viewers encourage us to continue working, people also have the option to put that remote control to good use and switch over if they feel the show isn't worth viewing or it is not relevant to their requirements.

Maybe count the adverts that run over the TV screens each day, do they all relate to you? or is there someone else out there that may find the information and awareness of the product useful ?

Each to their own i guess. Anyway rant over. Take care and Happy slating PRL

If the show wasn't doing anything wrong Danielle (if that is you, which I doubt), then there wouldn't be 7 upheld complaints in two months, with many more working their way through the process.
